FAQS
Nick can provide fully realised soundtracks for your short-form media or longer projects. Initially with a VI mock-up (Virtual Instrument) and then later on with recorded live players, if the budget allows. Whatever your requirements, your project will be handled with quality and attention to detail.
Nick is an accomplished pianist and saxophonist. Whilst his performing business is separate to this website, he can provide high-quality live performances to enhance your project. Whether you need a horn section featuring a variety of saxophones and trumpets for your funky detective car chase, lush piano for your premium advert or emotional strings recorded for your love scene then Nick has you covered.
Most music projects will require a certain amount of auxiliary, behind-the-scenes work including arranging, score preparation, recording live instruments, editing those instruments and mixing them. Nick is adept at all of these meaning he is an effective one-stop shop for all your audio needs.
The timeline will depend entirely on project size and complexity. Short videos may take a few days to write music to, while feature films can require weeks or months. Albums of music, be they production/library music or for an artist will take a couple of weeks.
Before taking a project, we would discuss the client’s needs and make sure that the support needed is in place to meet deadlines efficiently.
Pricing depends on project scope, length, complexity, and how much of the final project will need to be rerecorded with live players. Contact us for a personalised quote to fit your budget and needs.
